Safari Lodge is situated on the border of the Free State and Northern Cape
provinces, in the Malaria-free Kalahari Thorn veldt of South Africa.

Your hosts,
Theuns and Erika Cloete, are both qualified Professional Hunters. This means
that you can share your dreams about that wonderful trophy with any one of them
or if you talk about the hunt, they will both understand the adrenalin that
pumps through one's veins when you stalk that magnificent lion, or the
satisfaction that one feels when your photograph is taken next to the animal
that you have just hunted.
We
specialize in Hunting Safaris - Trophy Hunting, Bow Hunting, Cull
Hunting and for fun we have our informal (social) bird hunting, which may include
a veldt picnic and much laughter. We cater extensively for the foreign market,
thus you can be assured of the best quality trophies. We also offer
Photographic Safaris where visitors can go on game drives or do hiking through
the veldt to go bird watching and experience the untouched African
surroundings, fresh air and panoramic views from the small hills and kopjes in
the area. Be ready for that unsurpassed sunrise and sunsets with Kimberley’s
cityscape on the horizon – only 20 km from the lodge.
Kimberley is
the Diamond City of South Africa, with its world famous Big Hole (largest
man-made excavation on earth). Other must-see attractions in and around
Kimberley include the McGregor Museum, Wildebeest Kuil Rock Art Site (on the
Barkly West road), Magersfontein Battlefield, Mokale National Park, and many
others.
